BEGINNER
A beginner is considered one who has ridden up to a maximum of 30 times, galloped short distances with little confidence of gait. The beginner rider may need a collar to keep himself balanced and may still lose his stirrups, tending to be safer within a riding arena. A very quiet and experienced horse is needed.

INTERMEDIATE
An intermediate rider is comfortable at the three gaits and is able to ride horses of different types even for several hours a day. If you are at this point you can participate in most of our trips while not riding very often at home.

ADVANCED
A rider with several years’ experience, confident and balanced on any horse and in any situation. Able to sustain long stretches of galloping without losing balance. Able to mount horses of any type on any type of terrain. Also rides very often at home. This is the case for anyone who decides to participate in a safari.

Absolutely!

More than 50% of participants travel alone! It’s a wonderful opportunity to make new acquaintances, open one’s mind and absorb from one’s surroundings.

In some cases, adaptability to share a room with another participant is required.

However, it is almost always possible to request single accommodation at an additional cost.

Our partners all hold liability insurance.

Participants are still required to have an accident policy that covers any falls from the saddle. We recommend also considering supplementing maximums or cancellation policies (ask us for a quote)

CAUTION: the use of helmets is mandatory for possible claim openings.
